Go back more than 3000 years by visiting the capital of ancient Egypt Memphis, the necropolis of Saqqara and the great pyramids of the Giza plateau.

Overview

We pick you up at your hotel to immerse you in a day out of time.

First you will visit the Giza plateau where the great pyramids of Cheops, Kephren and Mykerinos are the only wonders of the world still existing.

Standing in front of these pyramids, admire the great sphinx, a monumental sculpture 40 meters long, with a human head on a lion’s body, the true guardian of the Giza site.

Then, head to the ancient capital of Lower Egypt Memphis dating back more than 5000 years, located at the entrance to the Nile Delta about twenty kilometers south of Cairo.

Vestiges of the splendor of this ancient city, several statues including the magnificent statue of Ramses II.

To end this ancient parenthesis, visit Saqqara with its famous step pyramid of King Djoser, It is the oldest stone complex built in the world.
Djoser’s pyramid was the first to use several mastabas stacked on top of each other which gives it this form of a stepped pyramid.

You will have lunch in a local restaurant in middlle of the day, end of day we will return you back to your accomodation in Safaga.
